The main tasks of the Victron battery monitor are to measure the charging and discharging currents and to calculate the state of charge and the remaining battery life. If certain limits are exceeded (such as excessive discharge), an alarm is sent out. The battery monitor can also exchange data with the Victron Global Remote.
