Caratec Secure Alarm System for Mercedes Sprinter

Caratec Secure is a reliable alarm system for motorhomes with
indispensable safety features such as hand-held transmitters with code
change, interior monitoring and immobiliser. It is integrated into the
existing CAN bus system – in case of detecting an intrusion, a signal is
immediately transmitted. The system, available for Fiat Ducato, Ford Transit, Iveco Daily, MB Sprinter and VW Crafter / MAN TGE, is prepared for additional
wireless sensors against break-ins. The interior monitoring system can
be switched off when people are on board. In case of an alarm, the
system triggers a visual and a loud acoustic alarm. In the event of a
hold-up, this can also be easily triggered using the hand-held
transmitter (panic alarm function). The siren with emergency power
supply is protected against tampering thanks to the bonnet contact. An
additional immobiliser secures the motorhome against unauthorised
driving away.
